The Coronas won best Irish album at the 10th Anniversary Meteor Music Awards. The guys were up against very stiff competition from Bell X1, The Duckworth Lewis Method, Snow Patrol and U2.

The Coronas are delighted to announce they are going to be headling this year's 'The Gig' in aid of ISPCC as part of FM 104's Help a Dublin Child appeal. The Coronas have been involved with this fundraiser for the last number of years and are pleased to announce thier continued involvement.
'The Gig' will take place on Friday 9th April in The Olympia Theatre. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
The Coronas are back in the UK! As part of a mini-tour of the UK, The Coronas will be playing the annual Mayor's St Patrick's Day Parade and Festival on Sunday 14 March in Trafalgar Square. The Festival will feature live Irish music and dance, showcasing the best of Irish music and dance from traditional to contemporary.
This free family day out is a fun way to experience all things Irish - food, dance, crafts, culture and music.

The Coronas will also be supporting James McCartney, son of legendary Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, on two of his UK Tour dates. The 32-year-old multi-instrumentalist played a handful of concerts in October last year under the pseudonym Light in a bid to distance himself from his world-renowned father, but now he is playing a string of gigs to showcase his music, which he claims is "inspired by The Beatles, Nirvana, The Cure, PJ Harvey, Radiohead - and all good music."
